The Mysqueeze citrus maker, designed by Roland Kreiter, was awarded the Pure Creativity 2009 prize organised by Mydeco.com, by a jury chaired by Philippe Starck and Sir Terence Conran. The reason why Mysqueeze won the award was that after 20 years it could be a new icon, the heir to the Juicy Salif citrus sipper designed by Philippe Starck, which has become one of the most famous in the world.
The Mysqueeze is particularly suitable for squeezing lemons which often need to be squeezed for just a few drops of juice, perhaps right over a meal. It looks good right at the table, on the saucer, always ready to use.
