The adjustable grater with ergonomic handle and convenient ingredient holder allows you to create fine, medium or thick slices. Using the adjustable grater:

When slicing vegetables and fruit with the straight blade of the grater, you have a choice of three options: fine, medium and thick slices. Select the desired coarseness as follows:

• Position 1 - 1/32" (0.8 mm) thin slices, for example for beetroot carpaccio
• Position 2 - medium thick 1/16" (1.6 mm) slices, for example for pears in a pie
• Position 3 - 1/8" (3.2 mm) thick slices, for example for roasted potato slices
• Position 0 - safety position during storage

By sliding across the ultra-sharp cross blade, you create even slices. To create julienne noodles, simply replace the cross blade with a serrated blade. To work safely and efficiently, we recommend using the transparent ingredient holder, which can be used to gently press a potato or apple half to the work surface.

Be extremely careful when using the slicer, as the blades are really ultra sharp for the best result! We recommend using it together with the Microplane® safety glove. After each use, carefully wash the grater by hand with warm water. To maintain the sharpness of the blades, washing in a dishwasher is not recommended. When storing the grater, set the straight slicing blade to the "0" position, store the julienne replacement blade in the appropriate compartment on the back of the grater and slide the ingredient holder into the side grooves, thereby also protecting your fingers from unwanted contact with the sharp cross blade.
