The Gourmet Plus series from the German brand WMF is made of stainless steel Cromargan® in a beautiful matt finish. The etched brand logo with the series name on the walls of the pots adds to their exclusivity. The cookware is highly functional and meets the increased demands of both cooking enthusiasts and professional chefs. High comfort of use is ensured by the large pot handles , which are also hermetically sealed and do not burn.

The advantage of Gourmet Plus stainless steel cookware is the use of the TransTherm® universal base, which is suitable for all types of heat, including induction. The bottom absorbs heat quickly and then transfers it evenly to the food being prepared. The pots are thus extremely suitable for boiling, stewing, frying, blanching or steaming. They can also be used for heating and baking in the oven up to 250 °C.

The sturdy stainless steel lids of the Gourmet Plus series fit tightly on the pot bodies. A small hole in the lid ensures that excess steam can escape, thus preventing the contents of the pot from overflowing unintentionally. The cookware also features a wide curved rim for easy pouring of contents. No unwanted dripping or running of liquid down the outer walls of the pot. The internal measuring scale makes it easy to measure the optimum amount of liquid. The pots are easy to clean and can of course be washed in the dishwasher.

Material used:

WMF uses 18/10 stainless steel, registered under the brand name Cromargan®, for the production of most of its pots.The "Crom" in the name stands for chrome, while the rest of the name "argan" is derived from the Latin word argentum, meaning silver.

High-quality Cromargan®stainless steel is created by refining steel. It contains 72% steel, 18% chromium and 10% nickel. It is a durable, non-corrosive, food acid resistant material. Cromargan® is beautifully glossy and easy to clean.
