Product detailed description

Very sharp Japanese bread and pastry knife BREAD 8" Dellinger Samurai (blade length 195 mm) made of damascus steel with impressive design and highest quality. This Japanese knife has a long and strong enough blade that is ideal for slicing bread and pastries. The serrated blade penetrates crispy crusts of bread and all baked goods very easily. This damascus knife is indispensable in every kitchen and bakery. Large bread, soft bread, large melons and pastries will no longer be a problem. The long blade and western style handle give you the best control when cutting and slicing. Japanese craftsmanship, precision and new technologies make this Damascene steel knife unique and inimitable.

It has an ultra-sharp cutting core made of Japanese vg10 steel, which is very well protected against corrosion. Japanese vg10 steel has a long lasting sharpness at R62 +/- 1 Rockwell hardness. The core of Japanese vg10 steel is sandwiched between 66 layers of 2 stainless damascus steels (damascus steel), which provide exceptional durability and toughness. The perfectly balanced, precisely tapered Japanese-shaped blade with Tiny Wawe's shimmering damascene pattern minimizes friction when cutting and prevents the material being cut from sticking to the blade. The Damascene pattern, reminiscent of a stormy sea, is unique, unrepeatable and will become a symbol of your individuality.

The western style handle is made of G-10 material and is decorated with a central mosaic rivet with the samurai emblem. It is always neatly hand-polished, ergonomically shaped and designed for excellent hand control. The specially designed shape of the bolster is suitable for Asian knife grip. Triple riveting ensures perfect strength, stability and connection of the damascus blade to the handle. The G-10 material is waterproof and completely odourless. You can be sure that this material will not corrode, oxidise or become softer and more brittle overtime. This material requires practically no maintenance, unlike traditional materials such as wood.
