The Chef's Edition bread knife/kitchen knife has a long, thick serrated blade. This blade slices effortlessly, straight and "cuts" through whatever you want to slice without the blade sliding across the surface. Thanks to its piercing long spikes, it easily, effortlessly slices crisp bread and creates neat slices. The serrated blade also cuts fruit without damaging its texture.
