Knife sharpener from brand Lamart is made of ABS plastic and has a non-slip base. The sharpener contains 3 stones for different uses. Diamond stone for repairing damaged blades and straightening them before sharpening, tungsten stainless steel disc for sharpening the blade and restoring the blade to the optimal "v" shape. The last stone is ceramic and is designed for polishing the blade and smoothing surface irregularities. The grinding wheels cannot be replaced, but they have a long life when in normal use.

PRACTICAL ADVICE

Dishwasher safe: NO, use only a damp cloth for cleaning.

Simple instructions for use:

1. Place the grinder on a sturdy table and hold it firmly by the handle. Pull the knife through each hole several times with adequate and even pressure. (for example, 5 times)
2. Use the sharpening stones that match the damage to your knife. Diamond stone for repairing damaged blades and straightening them before sharpening, tungsten stainless steel disc for sharpening the blade and restoring the blade to the optimal "v" shape. The last stone is ceramic and is designed for polishing the blade and smoothing surface irregularities.
3. Grinding procedure:
a) Always sharpen only clean and dry blades. Place the knife against the first grinding stone and gently pull the knife towards you. CAUTION: Do not move the blade back and forth. Always pull in one direction only.
b) We recommend repeating this procedure at least 5 times for each stone or more, depending on the condition of the blade.
c) When you have finished sharpening, clean the knife before further use or storage.
