Casserole pot 4 l, with lid, red burgundy, Emile Henry
Code: EH344540Product detailed description
The round pot with lid V 4 l is ideal for stewing, cooking and of course baking.
Flame® series products can be used not only in the oven, but also for cooking on any stove thanks to the special ceramic material that resists all direct heat sources. Thanks to the adapter disc (available separately), the Flame® series can also be used on induction cookers.
As the bottom of Flame® ceramics is not glazed, the following procedure must be followed before first use to close the pores in the ceramic. Boiling the milk prevents moisture from seeping through the ceramic, so the cookware is perfectly prepared for your next cooking session.
- Pour the milk (soy milk is also possible) into the container, so that it covers the entire bottom
- Bring to the boil
- When the milk starts to boil, turn off the stove and let the container and the milk cool down
- Instead of milk, you can also boil 150 g (1/2 cup) of rice with ¼ l water for 5 minutes
- The container must be thoroughly wiped dry before each storage
Each Emile Henry piece is an original: made from purely natural materials and handcrafted so that you too can enjoy the authentic pleasure of French cuisine and the art of enjoying life. The high quality Burgundy clay is fired at 1100°Ctogether with the glaze. The Emile Henry Flame® cookware is therefore impact and scratch resistant , so you can not only bake, but also portion and serve your food. All containers can be used in the microwave. Once removed from the freezer, you can immediately pop your Emile Henry dishes in the oven or microwave. All Emile Henry crockery is colourfast and of course dishwasher safe.
