Samura knives are made from the finest Japanese and Swedish steel, hardened to 58 - 61 HRC. The blades have a Japanese shape and a gentle taper from the tip, which gives them fantastic cutting performance. Samura knives are sharpened at an angle of 17 degrees. This is more than Japanese knives, but less than European knives. The best modern materials are used for the handles: Micarta, G10, stabilized wood, plastic with a fine finish, Kraton and composites.

Set of five Samura Harakiri steel kitchen knives includes: medium fruit and vegetable knife (SHR-0011B) with short blade (99 mm), utility knife (SHR-0023B) with medium blade (150 mm), the Nakiri knife (SHR-0043B) with a wide medium blade (170 mm), the chef's knife (SHR-0085B) with a wide and long blade (208 mm) and the Santoku knife (SHR-0095B) with a traditional Japanese-shaped blade (175 mm).
