The manufacturer was inspired by the beautiful Japanese nature and this is evidenced by the look that resembles the stems of bamboo. The background is a light yellow colour, and this is because it is meant to represent the other, partially dead plants that you can see around the bamboo shoots. The natural look of this bowl is completed by the dark clay-coloured rim.
