WOLL
WOLL – made from a love for cooking
WOLL’s roots and history
Woll comes from Saarbrucken, situated in the centre of Europe, between Luxemburg and France, this green region stands out as a region for excellent food and wine. It even has its own saying "Hauptsach’ gudd gess!", which means "We’re fine, as long as we eat well!"
Surrounded by food enthusiasts and a passion for cooking, Norbert WOLL, a master chef with a dream to perfect the frying pan, started his company by selling cookware in 1974 and founded Norbert Woll GmbH in 1979 to start realising his dream.
Craftsmanship and casting technique
Since 1979 this family-owned business has been manufacturing professional-quality, "Made in Germany", cast aluminium cookware, combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative technology.
Each product is handmade in a process completely different from mass production techniques. Despite the fact that it has been now 40 years from the moment WOLL presented its first cookware made by using the original aluminium permanent mould casting technique, the brand’s pots and pans and casserole pots are still manufactured in the same way. It is this technique and craftsmanship that makes them unique.
